How the LMC can protect their league from bad officiating

By ADEPOJU TOBI The NPFL is LMC business and the Company can't continue to watch as officiating continues to ruined their business after every matchday. Yes, the NRA trained the referees while the NFF appoint referees for league matches but the LMC pay their indemnities, without the LMC these referees can't earned money from officiating. The NRA has successful trained Excellent and Bad referees, while the NFF have got to appoint referees from this poll of Excellent and Bad referees. LMC have got control of their business and they can actually curb this poison on the league, If they are ready and bold to save the league from bad officiating. The major problem about this officiating is that we have got large poll of referees. Solution is that we must reduce the numbers. We need top and firm referees for league matches. LMC should request for the FIFA badge referees and top elites referees to officiate NPFL Matches. With this, it will be easy to track the performanc

Beat Bafana Bafana for Keshi and Amodu, NMJ urges Super Eagles

The New Media Journalists (NMJ) have urged the  Super Eagles to defeat their South Africa counterparts in their 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers to honour former coaches of the team, Stephen Keshi and Amodu Shaibu, who died a year ago. Keshi qualified and won the AFCON tournament for the country after defeating Burkina Faso in the final of the 2013 competition in South Africa. Amodu on the other hand was in charge of the team in winning bronze medals on two occasions. Nigeria will face Bafana Bafana in the matchday 1 of the qualification for Cameroon 2019 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday. The NMJ in a message of encouragement to the Super Eagles urged them to give the match at home to Bafana Bafana their best shot and was confident that they would put smiles on the faces of football loving Nigerians, following their recent impressive display in friendly games against Corsica and Togo respectively. NMJ Adebayo wins GoalFest 2017 Football Influencer award

One of the fast rising blogger in the country, Sulaiman Pooja Adebayor, and a member of the New Media Journalists (NMJ), at the weekend won the GoalFest2017 Football Influencer of the Year award. Adebayo beat BBC Shina Okeleji and Kiibati Bankole of Brila FM to the award which is in it’s second edition.
