Security warning ahead of the city rival clash

The Nigeria Premier League week 34 game between warri wolves and rangers int'l has been shifted to wednesday, jidap sport scooped. Timi ebikagboro media officer of warri wolves told jidap sport that the game schedule for this weekend has been postponed. Ranger int'l will be involved in a Wafu cup game on saturday, so the game in warri this sunday has been shifted to wednesday,Timi said. Both teams still have a chance to be crowned league champion.

NPL Names Team For Matchday 33

The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) on Wednesday released its 12-man Team for Week 33. Enugu Rangers and Plateau United were the dominant sides in the team with three personnel apiece. Rangers provided three players - James Okwuosah in defence, John Nnam in midfield and Brendan Ogbu in attack. Plateau United head coach, Bitrus Bewarang, who also doubles as general manager of the club, is picked as coach of the week. Tunji babalola acting executive secretary of the NPL told jidap sport on monday that the match in bayelsa on sunday was not a walk over against the visitors Lobi stars. There was a match involving ocean boys and lobi stars on sunday in bayelsa but unfortunatly the match was called off, he said. We have been told that okey akabuogu a former lobi stars players currently playing for ocean boys went into lobi stars dressing room to harrass his former team players and officials. As a results of that lobi stars said they were not save and left for makurdi immediatly, tunji told jidap sport. NPL TWO RESCHEDULE GAMES POSTPONED

Out of the three reschedule games slated for wednessday, two fixtures has been postponed. Ocean boys v Heartland fc has been postponed due to protest from Heartland that NPL must refund the money they wasted to abuja last weekend, it was reported earlier that ocean boys have been banished to abuja. Heartland fc General manager told jidap sport on wednessday morning that NPL have finaly shifted the game to August 10. That is not what we are even talking about, we travel to abuja last weekend to play Ocean boys, after we pay hotel bills and some other bills, NPL now inform us that ocean boys ban has been retrived, we want NPL to refund our money before will honour the game in Bayelsa, heartland fc G.M said. Also, Dolphins fc v Crown fc game has been shifted by the NPL, Dolphins fc were involved in an auto crash on there way back to Portharcourt on monday morning in Nasarawa.
