Flying Eagles top striker Emeka Chinonso has said, he will be the most happiest player in the world if Nigeria beat Burkina Faso in today's 2019 African Games to claim the Gold medal. An outstanding non-league side with huge reputation, Water FC have reached an agreement with Spanish side, Leganes for the signing of Flying Eagles wonder-kid, Success Makanjuola. Water FC turned down tempting offers from Belgium and Russia before settling for what to be the best for the left-wizard who is currently in Morocco participating in the 2019 African Games. Success has played an important role in Rabat to help Nigeria reached the final of the tournament on Tuesday knocking out Mali. Makanjuola has been one of the shinning prospects in Morocco with his powerful left-foot dazzling opponents and makes life difficult for them. Nigeria’s U20 boys, Flying Eagles, qualified for the semifinals of the men's football event of the 12th African Games after a hard fought 2-2 draw with hosts Morocco on Friday evening at the FAR Sports Complex Rabat. The result meant the Flying Eagles garnered five points from three games behind Burkina Faso who topped the group, and ahead of Morocco and South Africa. The Flying Eagles fell behind after Morocco profited from some slack defending to allow Mohsinne Abba to head home the opener in the 12th minute. Morroco looked the better side for much of the first half but Nigeria came back strongly towards the close of the first period and were duly rewarded when Ahmad Ghali was brought down in the box. Team captain Ibrahim Abubakar stepped forwarded and slotted home the spot kick at the second time of asking, after the Moroccan goalkeeper saved his initial effort. 2019 African Games: Ghali's winner gives Flying Eagles life-line Flying Eagles New kid on the block, Ahmad Ghali's 77th minute goal gave Nigeria maximum three points over Amajita of South Africa at the ongoing African Games in Morocco on Tuesday. Ahmad Ghali whose  heroics at the games made him the cornerstone which the builder earlier rejected, but the Mahaniam FC Sharp winger guaranteed Flying Eagles all three points over Amajita, scoring the winning goal as the match finished 2-1 in favor of Nigeria in Rabat. Emeka Chinonso could not hide his delight after his team's 2-1 victory over the South African side today at the men's football event in the Africa Games in Morocco. The lanky striker who came in as a replacement in the second half of the match against South Africa made pushes that helped the team hold the South African side till the end of the match. The young striker who gave a good account of himself at the training camp of the Under-20 team which eventually led to his making the cut to Morroco, said, "I'm happy to have made my debut today against South Africa and it's a dream come true for me". "I think we need to build on this success as team and continue to work hard till will achieve our aim", he added. The Brokehouse Football Club of London player concluded by saying, "my debut in the competition and  our team's victory is more than I can ask for in one day".

Flying Eagles striker Success Makanjuola, who was in the starting line up for his team's first match against Burkina Faso, came in at the second half in the match against South Africa, which the team won 2 goals to 1, in the football event at the ongoing Africa Games in Morocco. The striker came in, in  the second half to help his team hold the South African side to their first outright victory in the competition in which they secured the maximum points of the match to top their group. Speaking after the match, a delighted Makanjuola said, "I am really excited with this victory over South Africa. We really worked hard for it and I think we deserve it". "We have to keep this momentum and build on it as we continue to fight hard to the end of the tournament." He added. The Flying Eagles are top of their group with four points and will play hosts Morocco in their last group match come Friday in Rabat.

Nimble-footed winger Abubakar Ahmad Ghali's 58th minute strike was enough to secured a point for Nigeria's Flying Eagles against Burkina Faso on Friday in the football event of the 12th All Africa Games taking place in Morocco. Teenager Ghali who was surprisingly dropped from the Nigeria U20 team that participated at the last FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland, showed his classy quality and what the world missed in Poland on his debut with superb all round display for the Flying Eagles which he capped with a goal against Burkina Faso. The match ended 1-1 at full-time, the Flying Eagles ought to have taken home all three points but due to profligacy in front of goal, the Nigeria U20 team had to share the point with the Burkinabebes. The “Future Stars” project in his second edition was developed by WorldRemit and Arsenal FC to celebrate the positive impact that grassroots youth football coaches have on their communities, helping the children they train to develop life skills both on and off the pitch. WorldRemit will sponsor two winners, one male and one female, to fly to London for a personalised coaching programme with Arsenal Football Development coaches.
