Sponsored by WorldRemit, Chinasa Mandy Ukandu from Nigeria was one of two winners who won an all expenses paid trip to London to take part in a personalised training programme with Arsenal Football Development coaches. The weeklong programme is designed to help Future Stars coaches to assist the children they coach to develop life skills both on and off the pitch. Chinasa coaches boys and girls aged 5 to 16. Ru nners in the stable of Nigeria’s foremost Marathons and Road Races Club, the High-Altitude Athletics Club of Jos, Plateau State, have vowed to send the men’s’ national record in the full marathon to the athletics archives at the 2020 edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon on February 8, 2020. The current national record of 2 hours .15 minutes was set the Army Officer Abass Muhammed about three decades ago. The untrue story circulated by Sports Village Square website, where the media outfit, ignorantly accused Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation Technical And Development Committee, Comrade Ahmed Yusuf 'Fresh' of being unpatriotic as he did not vote reigning Africa Women's player of the year, Asisat Oshoala. Aro Olaoluwa has clarified the unprofessional report of the media outfit.
