Great performance at the weekend & conclusion of games on Monday in Lafia & Omoku. Uche Okagbue (@FCIfeanyiUbah) has been named Manager of the week. His tactical formation mastermind away win at Kada City. The team will set up in a new formation with a 4-4-2 formation. FCIU unbeaten in 5 games & yet to concede. The Goalkeeper: Chinedu Anozie (@FCIfeanyiUbah) is the GK of the week, he kept his 5th clean sheet in Kaduna couple with superb saves against Kada. The Back-Four: Efe Enabulele (@BendelInsurance) & Peter Ambrose (@GombeUnited) had clean sheet at Tornadoes & Abia Warriors respectively with massive performance. Onuoha Chukwujekwu (@FCIfeanyiUbah) was solid for the Anambra Warriors against Kada City, he made an important goal-line clearance late in the game. NFF: Otunba Ajayi’s rants are bundles of lies and misleading information

The Nigeria Football Federation has berated a former Member of its Executive Committee and Chairman of the Ondo State Football Association, Otunba Sunday Dele-Ajayi for unguarded, misleading and deliberate falsehood, and outrightly libellous statements made in an interview published by a website on Thursday: The attention of the NFF has been drawn to some statements made by Otunba Dele-Ajayi, a former Member of the NFF Executive Committee and Chairman of the Ondo State FA, in an interview originally granted a radio station in Ondo State but published by a website on Thursday, 24 th  January 2019. There were plenty of star in the NPFL at the weekend with amazing results. Heartland won away in Lafia & dominated TOTW with three players. FC Ifeanyi Ubah sustained their unbeaten run at Go Round while Bendel Insurance started life in the NPFL. The Manager: @SupportTheNPFL has named Turkish-born, Mahmet Tayfun as the Manager of the week after leading Heartland FC to victory at Nasarawa Utd. The team set-up in 3-4-3 formation. The Goalkeeper: Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi elder brother, Ebele Obi has been voted the best goalkeeper of Matchday 3. The Heartland FC goalkeeper saves in Lafia denied their host Nasarawa Utd from avoiding home defeat. The Defence line-up: Ghanaian import & Heartland defender, Desmond Agbekpornu led the back-three with a clean sheet in Lafia. Maikaba stats

I have to dig out Abdu Maikaba NPFL statistics as a coach. He joined Wikki Tourists in 2014/15 season as head coach, since then, Maikaba has spent four years coaching Wikki and Akwa United in the NPFL. The former Enyimba assistant coach left Uyo after two years and joined Plateau United last year. He begins another life in Jos today (January 13, 2019). At Wikki Tourists: 2014/15 season; League games: 38 W - 18 D - 18 L - 11. Finished fourth with 63 points, seven points behind league champions, Enyimba. 2016 Season; League Games: 36 W - 16 D - 9 L - 11. Finished third with 57 points, missed continental ticket to Rivers Utd with three points behind. After two seasons he moved to Akwa United in 2017. 2017 Season; League Games: 38 W - 17 D - 9 L - 12. Oladapo resumes as NOC Secretary General  It was the beginning of another era in the Olympic family today, Monday, 7th of January following the hand over ceremony between Chief Babatunde Popoola (Outgone Secretary General) and Mr Olabanji Oladapo  (NOC SG) The brief ceremony which took place at the conference room of the Nigeria Olympic Committee was witnessed by the NOC President, Engr. Habu Gumel and top management staff of NOC. Popoola who was Secretary of the NOC for 8 years thanked Engr Gumel, the board of NOC and members of the media for their support during his time in office.
