Ahead 3SC, CROWN
MATCH

oyo FA warns fans and supporters

Fans and supporters of Shooting Stars sports club of Ibadan and Crown FC of Ogbomoso have been singled out for warning
ahead of the local derby match which will decide the fate of the two clubs in the Nigeria Premier League. The warning was
made by the Chairman, Oyo state football
association (OYSFA) Barrister Leye Adepoju
while addressing
pressmen at the Obafemi Awolowo stadium.
Adepoju said fans and supporters would not be
allowed to encroach into
the football pitch during and after the crucial encounter and the
provision of maximum securities will be
guaranteed. "We all saw
what happened during the first leg at the Kuto stadium Abeokuta when 3SC played host to Crown,
we can no longer tolerate that any more because the
two teams are brothers in the state. No fans,
supporters and even unofficial persons will be
allowed into the pitch. We promise you maximum securities." Adepoju who is currently a member and
chairman of the Nigeria football federation disciplinary and organizing committee therefore said
the Nigeria premier league
will surely punish any party found of unruly act.

In another related letter signed by the state FA secretary, Gboyega Makinde revealed that
meeting will be held this week with the fans and
supporters chairmen on how to curbed aggressive fans. He said that the two clubs belongs to the state
government and there should be reason for clash.
