2018 World Cup Qualifier: Goals would fall on Cameroon ~ Fresh
Vice-chairman Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh has submitted that the present Super Eagles players would go 'Goal Haywire' as Nigeria sets to lock horns with Cameroon this evening, in a FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo .
"I believe the Super Eagles players understand the significance of playing the biggest football showpiece 'World Cup', it would further raise their profile as they all continue to make name for themselves in their chosen field," fresh submits.
The Chairman Niger State Football Association chairman believes the return of the team captain Mikel Obi, Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo would also spur the rest of the players who never featured at the African Cup of Nations, let alone FIFA World Cup to give over 100 percent this evening.
"We at the Technical Committee of the Federation try as much as possible to injects well experienced players in the team because such players are part of the motivation to any team that aim at achieving desire results especially a crucial match like Cameroon," Fresh revealed.
The last time Super Eagles played the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a competitive game was at the African Cup of Nations in Tunisia on February 8th, 2004, Nigeria sent out the Cameroonian at quarter finals with a 2-1 victory.
