You can love him or hate him, you can't deny that fact that Dominic Iorfa is one of the greatest club administrators of all time in Nigeria.

Iorfa's midas touch has made Lobi Stars one of the leading clubs in the domestic scene. 

Playing away from home is a big challenge to any team, but Iorfa"s excellent administrative capacity ensured the team finished well and wormed their way into the hearts of new fans.

For critics who may not realise this, Nasarawa United, played in Jos like Lobi, but got relegated.

Not even Plateau United, who are the landlords in Jos made it to the playoffs. 

Lobi reached the PlayOffs in Lagos as finished as the 6th best team in the country. 

Remember Lobi Stars was in troubled relegation waters when Iorfa was called upon for a task described as "rescue mission" by the owners of the team, the Benue State government. 

Knowing the challenges of a team placed 19th on the 20-team log and  without a war chest, the former Nigerian and Queens Park Rangers forward, took the bull by the horns. 

Fast Forward to the innovative NaijaSuper8 tournament designed to be controlled by fans.

Passionate fans of the club within and outside the country displayed excellent understanding of the club's fan engagement strategies designed by Iorfa to vote the club ahead of Nasarawa United, Kwara United and Plateau United. 

This was an off the field decision by fans to their votes to Lobi Stars. 

With the fans putting their trust on Lobi Stars in the first stage, the next stage was to put up a team that can compete to win the zonal playoffs.

Trust Iorfa to make radical changes to make the people of Benue and the new state government happy.

No Benue state organisation has given the government superb PR like Lobi Stars. 

To boost performance, Iorfa changed the technical crew and one of the best in the country, Abubakar Bala, was engaged.

Firstly, Lobi Stars won the playoffs and for the second time returned to Lagos for another tournament. 

Only the best organised teams made it to Lagos.

League champions, Enyimba, first runner up, Remo Stars and second runner up, Rivers United, also made it to the NaijaSuper8, like Lobi Stars. 

Real football fans will see that it was not an all-comers-affair. NaijaSuper8 is an elite tournament and Lobi Stars has attained that standard again under Iorfa. 

With the turn around maintenance on the team engineered by Iorfa, fans watched a different Lobi Stars in Lagos.

Many wondered how Iorfa achieve this without a war chest. 

Trust him to understand the importance of players' motivation. 

Lobi played a unique brand of football that won more fans like magnet attracting irons.

A narrow loss to Remo Stars ended their NaijaSuper8 campaign, but the fans and organisers continue to talk about Lobi Stars' intentional play with robust transition from defence to midfield and attack.

Lobi put up a tactical display with wide play to dominate the pitch.

From Eket to Lagos, Lobi scored a total of seven goals with Joseph Atule scoring four goals.

It has been Lobi Stars all on the way from print to electronic media, blogs and traditional media.

Iorfa's magic ensured Lobi Stars was always in the news with the right results to create valued mention for the state.

Imagine the cost of paid mentions by Benue State government to media organisation!

Love him or hate him, Iorfa deserves all the accolades for projecting the new Government of Rev. Father Hyacinth Alia with Lobi Stars in the NaijaSuper8.

It can only get better if Rev. Alia embraces this team and release funds for actualization of their goals.
