Chicharito currently boasts the best minute per goal rate in the history of the EPL

Manchester United striker,
Javier ‘Chicharito’
Hernandez currently boasts
the best minute per goal rate
in the history of the Premier
League. The Mexican striker
beats the likes of Fernando
Torres, Thierry Henry and
Ruud Van Nistelrooy despite
being in his maiden season
at the club.
An Opta investigation has
shown that Hernandez has
scored ten Premier League
goals in 962 minutes during
his United career, an
average of one goal every
96 minutes and 12 seconds
player. The study, which only
includes players who have
scored ten+ goals in the
league, also shows that
these ten goals have been
scored from just 14 shots on
target – meaning that 71.4%
of his on target shots find
the back of the net.
Alongside Hernandez is four

plying their trade in the

Ivan Klasnic, Daniel Sturridge
and Rafael Van der Vaart.
