My Future In God Hands - Victor Okeji

Gateway fc of Abeokuta attacker Victor Okeji told Jidap sport that his next move in his career is in God hands.

Speaking to Jidap sport at Eko fm Lagos state on Friday, victor said i had a very wonderful season at gateway fc, i love the team management and the fans in Abeokuta are great to us despite the team poor performance at the just concluded National league.

I sign one year contract with gateway fc which runs out this month, the state government is bringing new set of people to the board of the team, so am not sure maybe they will offer me a new contract, but with my performance during the season they may offer me a new contract and something bigger has pay pack, I believe God has a plan for me in the coming season, he said.

Victor Okeji who is originated from Imo state played 27 games out of 29 games Gateway fc played in the just concluded season, he also scored 9 goals to help his team retain their National league status.

Victor said, Hard work in training helps me a lot and am happy because the season was fantastic for me.

Victor also target playing playing in the top flight next season. He said, With God all things are possible Nigeria Premier League is my target for next season and also offer from Europe.

I want to give thanks to God for his protection during the season, we travel always on Nigeria bad roads for every away game and God has been my protector, he concluded.

Victor Okeji plays from the Left wing position, he can also play behind the striker in the attacks. He wear the jersey number 7 for Gateway fc of Abeokuta
