IBRAHIM GALADIMA PLAYED A KEY ROLE IN HOSTING CHAN - FRESH





Vice chairman of Nigeria football federation technical and development committee, comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh believes former Nigeria football association chairman who is now kano state sports council chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima should be commended for the role he played in ensuring that the Kano State government hosted the victoriors CHAN Eagles before and during the qualification series.

 Fresh who was also part of the dignitaries present at Kano during the second leg of the CHAN Qualifier said through his sa on media Mr Olaoluwa Aro.

‘It’s of great importance to appreciate my boss, mentor Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima for the reception given to Nigeria football federation since they agreed to host the country’s CHAN team,  and it was indeed a great time we all enjoyed ‘NFF’ in Kano’ fresh said.

Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf who is also the Niger State football association chairman further appreciate the support CHAN team received from Nigeria media.

"Media play a part in any success a federation records in fact they really surprised me especially those we traveled to Benin for the first leg, and also made it to kano for the second I want implore them all weather electronics, print, new media journalists, and what have you to keep up with the spirit of oneness as we all have to give total supports in the return of fifa 2018 world cup qualifier which starts in September against Cameroon." Fresh expressed.

As the CHAN Nations Cup tentatively holds in Kenya 2018, CHAN Eagles pick up the ticket in Kano with a 2-0 victory over Benin Republic making it 2-1 aggregate after 1-0 loss to Benin in the first leg.

FOR THE RECORDS RE: NIGERIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION (NFF) DENIES ALLEGED CHARGES BY FG

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) notes that it has been inundated with enquiries about charges allegedly filed against its leadership (Amaju Melvin Pinnick, Seyi Akinwunmi, Shehu Dikko, Ahmed Fresh and Mohammed Sanusi) by the Federal Government of Nigeria. NFF denies that FG has filed any such charges. NFF states that the orchestrated media blitz about the existence of such charges is nothing but the desperate and malicious efforts of the Chief Okoi Obono-Obla led Special Presidential Investigative Panel (SPIP) to lend itself as an instrument of cheap blackmail in the fight for the political leadership of NFF.
