"Polio as a threat to the world's population remains a cankerworm we must continue to fight. We must see polio eradication as a possibility." ~ Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah,

24th October, 2017.
Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the President Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation has salutes the efforts of Rotary International, Centre for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations International Children's Emergence Fund (UNICEF) and all other partners in the global polio eradication initiative for their continuous support and contribution in eradicating the deadly disease "polio" worldwide.
Dr. Ubah maintains that, "Polio as a threat to the world's population remains a cankerworm we must continue to fight. We must see polio eradication as a possibility"
It could be recalled that in 1988, World Health Organization (WHO) member states Assembly passed a vote seeking to fight Polio World Wide
The following year, after another such assembly approved a Plan of Action for a Global Polio Eradication Initiative, the WHO Regional Committee for Africa took up the assembly's resolution, and in 1995 again urged the vigorous implementation of the strategies for the polio eradication initiative. The African Union, at its annual summit meeting of African heads of state in 1996, endorsed the eradication initiative.
The resolution to end the deadly virus has seen health professionals, health organizations, political leaders, donor agencies and health activist groups across countries coming together working tirednessly to achieve a common goal of #ZeroPolio worldwide.
Together, we shall continue to kick out polio
