2018 Phantom Football Cup: JBE pledges more supports as Joey, Meshach shine in matchday one
The Ceo of JBE Logistics Services, also cosponsor of this year's Phantom Football Cup Mr Jafar Idris has promised to give more supports as Phantom Football Cup enters matchday 2 this weekend in Maitama, Abuja.
www.oganlamedia1.blogspot.com.ng reports that this statement came after JBE Logistics Services gave out cash rewards to the outstanding players In matchday one of the ongoing Phantom Cup.
"I believe the participating teams gave good account of themselves that was why our esteemed organisation motivated the players that stood out based on their performances in different fixtures of matchday one," said Jafar.
Jafar Idris who is actively in the Cup Tourney, and also as vice-captain of Indomitable FC hails the organizers for putting up such competition and reveals more motivations from JBE Logistics services.
"The organizers have done well for coming up with this interesting tourney (Phantom Football Cup) and the measures put in place by the former spurred our organisation (JBE Logistics Services) to contribute its quota in the first round of matches and we shall do more to encourage ourselves. We have always maintained that the competition is not a do or die affairs but for us to have bragging right in as sportsmen," Jafar disclosed.
According to report by www.oganlamedia1.blogspot.com.ng on matchday one Nonso udeh known as FBS scored the opening goal for Indomitable FC 15 minutes into the first half while maximum goal poacher Ik Owenu levelled up For FC Wakanda 20 minutes into the second half. Super sub and pacing winger Joey Odumah who came in 10 minutes before the end of the full time scored a screamer which set tongues wagging amongst players and spectators changed the atmosphere of the game as Indomitable FC got the three needed home points against FC Wakanda.
However, in the second fixtures of matchday one of the ongoing Phantom Football Cup, Meshach's superb goal which caught the goalkeeper of Stargang napping was not enough to give his team Showstopper the edge against Stargang who defeated Showstopper 2-1 away from home.
