2018 Phantom Football Cup: Udoka, Abdul remains upbeat against Stargang in matchday two

Showstoppers FC creative midfielder cum assistant captain, Udoka Obidike is optimistic that his side would be in their right frame of minds as they go on a date to visit Stargang FC.

In the reverse fixture of the ongoing 2018 Phantom  Football Cup at Solid Foundation International School, Maitama, Abuja Showstoppers lost 1-2 at home to Stargang FC.

In a chat with www.oganlamedia1.blogspot.com Udoka believes that his team 'Showstoppers' has put behind them the home defeat to Stargang FC. He attributed the home defeat to ill luck, he says his team are ready to create an upset this weekend away from home.

"We gave our best last weekend when my team hosted Stargang FC, it was an high profile match and we did not utilize our chances to the fullest which our visitors did.

"Having moved on from the first home defeat to Stargang FC, our spirit is on the high side this weekend. I'm hopeful in the reverse fixture we'll come out with obnoxious mood," Udoka expressed.

In the same vein, Showstoppers Team Coordinator, Abdulkadir Suleiman in his words maintain that his team must bounce back to winning ways.

"Football is a game of formation against information. Yes, we lost at home last weekend to Stargang FC and we are going to be more purposeful in this crucial match. I am sure that it would go along to ensure our relevance in the 2018 Phantom Football Cup," said Abdulkadir.
