Showstoppers FC became the first team to secured the final match ticket after their emphatic 5-1 drubbing over lousy opponent Stargang FC in the semifinal game of the ongoing Phantom Football Cup in Maitama, Abuja.

Oganlamedia1.blogspot.com was live at the Solid Foundation International School where the encounter took place reports that in form Showstoppers midfielder,  Mohammed Tayyib 'Shaggy' opened the goal scoring accounts for his team with a superb free kick from a very difficult angle.

Showstoppers continued with their style of play, where the gentle giant 'Shaggy' doubled the lead for his team. As the first half tempo increases, Showstoppers box to box striker, Valentine Dakolo (Val) activated his scoring mood in the competition. He scored his first goal of the tournament.

However, the unorganized opponent, Stargang FC responded with a goal from their energetic right full back just before the half time recess.

Oganlamedia1.blogspot.com followed up with yet another fascinating second half as the visitors, Showstoppers FC showed no mercy with their obnoxious display, increasing the first half results to 4-1, this time it was Valentine Dakolo who registered a brace to his name.

Showstoopers FC in their positive manners of wining away from home compounded the woes of their host late in the game as Valentine netted his third goal in the game, setting a record of the first hat-trick of the ongoing Phantom Football Cup Tourney.

In a chat with Oganlamedia1.blogspot.com Showstoopers FC creative and purposeful midfielder Udoka Obidike Cum assistant captain shed more lights on their motivation towards the victory over Stargang FC.

"We understand the significance of this weekend encounter having lost 2-1 when we hosted Stargang FC. Our fans can attest to the fact that ill luck was the reason we narrowly lost to the game.

"This reversed fixture away from home is our only lifeline, couple with the fact that captain fantastic, Chimdi Anyama, who was unavoidably absent in our opening match returned back to full fitness with a new baby. So, we decided to give his baby a lovely and memorable welcome," Udoka reveled.

Showstoppers FC are through to the final of the tournament after the emphatic win over Stargang FC.
