Evra sign new four year deal

Patrice Evra has signed a
new four-year deal with
Manchester United, according
to French media outlet Canal
+.
Evra has recently been
linked with a move to long-
term admirers Real Madrid in
the summer, with reports
suggesting a player-plus-
cash deal involving Brazilian
left-back Marcelo could have
been in the offing.
Only last month Evra’s agent
Federico Pastorello confirmed
that interest from the La Liga
side was real and that he
could potentially leave the
Red Devils with his contract
set to expire in 2012.
The latest developments
appear to have firmly put
any potential move to bed,
however, with the reported
four-year deal to keep the
Frenchman at Old Trafford
until 2015.
