12th All Africa Games: Ahmad Ghali's strike secure Flying Eagles point against Burkina Faso

Nimble-footed winger Abubakar Ahmad Ghali's 58th minute strike was enough to secured a point for Nigeria's Flying Eagles against Burkina Faso on Friday in the football event of the 12th All Africa Games taking place in Morocco.

Teenager Ghali who was surprisingly dropped from the Nigeria U20 team that participated at the last FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland, showed his classy quality and what the world missed in Poland on his debut with superb all round display for the Flying Eagles which he capped with a goal against Burkina Faso.

The match ended 1-1 at full-time, the Flying Eagles ought to have taken home all three points but due to profligacy in front of goal, the Nigeria U20 team had to share the point with the Burkinabebes.

Prior to the 2019 Africa Games, Ahmad Ghali had scored a hat-trick and contributed two assist during the teams test matches in Abuja; a run which he took into his first competitive match for the Flying Eagles against Burkina Faso, capping his debut with a goal for the Paul Aigbogun tutored team.

However, should the youngster Ahmad Ghali continue with his impressive run of form which in the next match, there is every possibility he'll score again for the Nigeria U20 team against South Africa next week Tuesday.
