Water FC, Leganes reach contract agreement for Makanjuola Success


An outstanding non-league side with huge reputation, Water FC have reached an agreement with Spanish side, Leganes for the signing of Flying Eagles wonder-kid, Success Makanjuola.

Water FC turned down tempting offers from Belgium and Russia before settling for what to be the best for the left-wizard who is currently in Morocco participating in the 2019 African Games.

Success has played an important role in Rabat to help Nigeria reached the final of the tournament on Tuesday knocking out Mali.

After turning down offers from Belgium and Russia, Success Makanjuola will sign the dotted lines for Leganes before the end of the week.

"We have reached an exclusive agreement with Leganes, every details is done and dusted," Water FC President, Mr Makanjuola revealed.

"We had a lot of tempting offers but we settled for Spain and Leganes for the development of the boy. There is added advantage with two Nigerian players in the team, that will help him settle down quickly."

FOR THE RECORDS RE: NIGERIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION (NFF) DENIES ALLEGED CHARGES BY FG

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) notes that it has been inundated with enquiries about charges allegedly filed against its leadership (Amaju Melvin Pinnick, Seyi Akinwunmi, Shehu Dikko, Ahmed Fresh and Mohammed Sanusi) by the Federal Government of Nigeria. NFF denies that FG has filed any such charges.
