NPFL: We are in Benue for the away points - Abubakar

MFM forward, Abubakar Ghali has expressed total confidence ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) rescheduled fixture against Lobi Stars in Makurdi, he said, they are battled ready to pick up away points in today's encounter at the Samuel Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.

The sharp winger, Ghali who joined the Olukoya Boys from Mahaniam FC in Abuja said; "We have been preparing 'Mentally' for this particular fixture with Lobi Stars knowing full well how formidable they are.

"Personally, It's going to be a huge opportunity for me to announce my name yet again with a five-star performance at the apex football league in Nigeria," Ghali boded to Maxinews24.com. 

The 18-year-old also known as 'Callejon', believes the Fidelis Ilechukwu led Warriors would compound the woes of Lobi Stars this season.



"All have not been well with Lobi Stars this season, going by their recent games in the NPFL and continental. So, we are poised to damage them before football fans at their home ground, we are the Olukoya Boys and we fear no foe," he boasted.


Abubakar Ghali as he set to make his third appearance in today's encounter, he had riveted the Soccer Temple football fans at Agege stadium with his 'Stopover' gimmicks, against abject Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna. The innate skills led to their 3-2 come back victory over the latter, as he also featured in an away triumph to Remo stars of Shagamu.

Going into this fist leg, Mfm are on top of the Group A abridged League table with 18 points from eight games while Lobi Stars are relegation bound having garnered eight points from five matches.
